Brewing League Of Shame

Membership to the League of Shame is restricted to those nations that both engage in domestic brewing and show a chronic inability to brew decent beer. A member nation may withdraw from the League if its population of good beers exceeds its reputation among the Beer Snarks for producing bad beer.

Country: Japan

Contributions to the League: Asahi Super Dry, Sapporro, Kirin Ichiban
Remarks: The Japanese must love tasteless, dry lagers. They seem to brew nothing else.

Country: Taiwan

Contributions to the League: Taiwan Beer
Remarks: Taiwan Beer is one of the worst beers that I have ever tried. Taiwanese marketing is as bad as Taiwanese brewing. "Taiwan Beer?" At least the name is accurate.

Country: Australia
Date Joined: Founding Member
Contributions to the League: Foster's Lager, Coopers Pale Ale
Remarks: Australians drink more than almost anyone else on the planet. Therefore, we believe that they should produce some good beers. Special points are awarded for Foster Lager's inane commercials.
